Tekmar Subsea Awarded Acergy Contract to Modify Existing LARS

Tekmar Subsea have been awarded a contract by Acergy Ltd to modify two existing Launch and Recovery Systems to allow a large ROV stack to launched for project specific applications.

 

The two sets of structural assemblies have been manufactured and will be installed on the vessels Acergy Eagle and Legend.

 

The upgrade work has been successfully subjected to DNV design verification and will include full dismantling of the boom assembly on-site.

 

Two sets of service teams will perform each upgrade simultaneously in the UK and Gabon.
