James Ritchie, CEO
As one of the first employees of Tekmar Energy, James has a strong heritage within the oil & gas and renewables sector. James was one of the early Directors to lead the management buy-out of Tekmar Energy in September 2011 with Elysian Capital and consequently became CEO. Working together with Tekmar on over 40 offshore wind projects, James leads the business with a passion for strong customer relationships and his enthusiastic entrepreneurial spirit.
Ally MacDonald, Chairman
Ally has over 25 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas industry including 5 years of executive management experience, has spent over 19 years with Technip and was Managing Director of their Duco umbilicals business. As an engineer by trade, Ally graduated with an honours degree in mechanical engineering.
Sue Hurst, Finance Director
Sue is a Financial Executive with over 25 years experience in world class companies covering sectors from Oil & Gas and Transportation through to IT and Outsourcing. Management of finance & commercial teams, change management programmes and Board level experience all feature. A strong background in manufacturing and process driven industry developed her keen eye for continuous improvement and cost control.
Jack Simpson, Head of Offshore Wind Sales & Strategy
As one of the early employees of Tekmar Energy, over 7 years Jack has led the sales, marketing initiatives and strategy of the company through a track record of more than 50 major offshore projects. Jack has a passion for the offshore industry and regularly goes offshore to support during live installations and to gain critical feedback at the heart of the operation, for the benefit of future projects to come.
Charlie Sullivan, Head of Subsea Sales & Stratergy
Charlie is a chartered mechanical engineer with experience in designing, building and commissioning equipment for a range of offshore systems. Prior to working at Tekmar he has worked for large engineering companies developing solutions for complex engineering challenges for pipe handling, cable burial and heavy lift equipment.
Russell Edmondson, Operations Director
Joined Tekmar in 2012, Russell leads the operations at Tekmar, experienced in offshore engineering and commercial project management. BSc in construction management and offshore BOSIET trained. Over 10 years of experience.
Terry Sheldrake, Technical Director
Terry has over 25 years’ experience in both Academia and within the Oil & Gas industry, including 14 years of executive management experience as the Head of Technology at Wellstream International and subsequently GE Wellstream. Terry has also been an active member on a number of International standards committees, has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
