BARD Engineering GmbH is installing 80 offshore wind turbines within the wind farm BARD Offshore I which is some 90 km north of the Island of Borkum in the German Bight. The water depth is about 40 m. It will be the first time that 5 MW wind turbines are erected 100 kilometres offshore at a water depth of up to 40 metres.
